What is it about?

« Comment aider un·e proche victime de violences ? » (How can you help a loved one experiencing violence?) is a 12-page booklet designed to be easily consulted, either in a quiet space or at home. It is an accessible information and awareness tool intended for people who are wondering how to support someone close to them facing physical, psychological or sexual violence in Switzerland.

12 pages to understand, support and guide

Being close to someone experiencing violence can raise many questions: What should I say? How can I help? How far should I intervene? How can I avoid making the situation worse?

This booklet provides reliable information, clear guidance and existing resources in Switzerland to help each person act with greater confidence, at their own level, depending on the situation. It has been designed to be easily accessible: to read on site, to take away or to share, so that the information remains available when it is needed.

Because attentive listening, the right words or appropriate guidance can already make a real difference.
