At no point during this debate was there any mention of situations involving victims with disabilities who are under the influence of a healthcare worker (not a doctor, but a professional in the social sector). Criminal justice is unjust and inconsistent, inevitably downplaying the impact on a female victim, especially one with a disability. How can we trust it?! This debate is one-sided. What is the future for a victim who could not be recognised as such? Beyond the burden of the criminal process, rehabilitation is impossible, which can lead the victim to leave this life. Sickening.
