Having suffered sexual violence and rape from my brother between the ages of 8 and 12, I filed a criminal complaint for assault, battery, and simple bodily harm with threats following an attack by him two years ago.

The prosecutor handling my case never decided to meet with ME, the victim, and issued a dismissal order, placing all legal fees on me.

At the beginning of 2023, I received a complaint from the person I’ll call my “womb mate” for slander following the reports that had been established at the forensic medicine center of the CHUV. The prosecutor wished to question me, making me relive every detail of the rapes.

I went from victim to accused. And the matter isn’t over.
